Guidelines for Detecting and Documenting Violations of Adobe Systems Inc. Computer Software Copyrights
These methodological recommendations were developed in collaboration with the Department of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. They contain all the necessary information about Adobe Systems Inc. computer programs and provide samples of procedural documents required for documenting copyright infringements related to software piracy. The provided documents include directions for conducting inspections of business entities, protocols for examining the scene of the incident, applications for obtaining permission to seize the infringing products, court orders granting permission to seize the infringing products (documents), protocols for administrative offenses under Article 51-2 Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, expert opinions on computer hardware and software examinations, and more.
This brochure has been printed in a circulation of 1000 copies and distributed to law enforcement officers responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights in all regions of the country.
